Two gunmen opened fire during a Hanukkah event at Bondi Beach in Sydney, at about 6.50pm local time. Video footage showed men dressed in black crossing a beach close to the beach and firing at people below. ‌

The event was organised by the Jewish centre of Chabad Bondi. It was set to host live entertainment for families. As shots rang out, people fled for their lives.
