Plans to transform a County Durham home into shared housing have been submitted.

The property at 18 North Road West in Wingate is the subject of an application for a Lawful Development Certificate to change it from a three-bedroom house into a HMO for six people.

It also includes a proposal for a loft conversion.

Submitted by Jeff Gillett from The Gillett Macleod Partnership, it seeks a lawful development certificate from Durham County Council.

Work has not yet been started at the property.

Plans are now with Durham County Council's planning officers and a decision is set to be made in the coming weeks.
