KALAMAZOO, MI – Two juveniles were arrested early Sunday, Dec. 14, for allegedly beating and robbing a delivery driver, Kalamazoo police said.

Officers were called around 1:30 a.m. for a report of a strong-arm robbery involving a DoorDash driver near Cadillac Street and Douglas Avenue.

The victim told police they were physically assaulted and robbed by two suspects who then fled the area on foot.

A search led officers to a nearby residence. Two juvenile suspects exited the residence and were taken into custody without incident, police said.

At the scene, police seized evidence from inside the residence that was related to the robbery.

The incident remains an active investigation, police said.
