A teenage girl died while trying to take a photo on a cliff in Australia.

The 17-year-old fell from a cliff at Moffat Beach in Queensland on Dec. 13, according to a Queensland Police Service (QPS) spokesperson.

Police said emergency services were notified of the incident around 6:40 p.m. The teenager, who has not been identified, sustained critical injuries and died at the scene, QPS said.
