Atlanta Hawks big man Kristaps Porzingis will miss at least two more weeks and undergo further testing due ‍to an illness, the team announced Sunday.

Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers is the seventh of the last eight that Porzingis sat out due to the issue.

Porzingis, 30, was acquired ‌from the Boston Celtics in the ‌offseason. He is averaging 19.2 points and 5.6 rebounds in 13 games (12 starts).

Porzingis struggled with his health during the 2025 postseason as a member of the Celtics. He averaged 7.7 points and 4.6 rebounds in limited minutes ‍as he experienced breathing issues.

Following the season, Porzingis was diagnosed with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), a nervous ‍system disorder that causes rapid heart rate and dizziness while standing.
