INGLEWOOD, Calif. (WILX) - The Detroit Lions couldn’t get it done on the road as they fell 41-34 to the Rams on Sunday.
The Lions fall to 8-6 on the season, and Detroit has approximately a 40% chance to still make the postseason.
First Half
Jake Bates missed a 44-yard field goal to end Detroit’s first drive of the game, but the Lions got it right back when Aidan Hutchinson picked off Matthew Stafford.
Detroit would get on the board first when Jared Goff hit Amon-Ra St. Brown for a 17-yard score to make it 7-0 Detroit.
Los Angeles answered back on a 4-yard touchdown run from Kyren Williams to knot it at seven points apiece.
Detroit took back the lead on its next drive on a Bates’ 24-yard field goal make to give the Lions a 10-7 lead in the second quarter.
