Country music singer Pat Green has lost four family members in the tragic floods in Texas.

According to reports , Green’s younger brother, John, his wife, Julia, and two of their children were swept away and killed.

Green first let fans know that he was facing tragedy in an Instagram post asking for prayers on Monday. The news that the four were dead came hours after his wife, Koi, elaborated on the situation.

“We are so thankful for the outpouring of love and concern,” she wrote on Instagram. “Pat’s little brother John, his wife, Julia, and two of their children were swept away in the Kerrville flood. We are heartbroken and anxiously waiting for all of them to be found. Thank you for your prayers.”
