The U.S. Senate Committee on Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs released a final report Sunday detailing failures by the U.S. Secret Service during the attempted assassination of Donald Trump in Butler last year.
Chairman and U.S. Senator Rand Paul released the final report Sunday, which "exposes a disturbing pattern of denials, mismanagement, and missed warning signs—some occurring just minutes before shots were fired." Advertisement
The report stems from the committee's bipartisan investigation launched shortly after the attack on July 13, 2024. It's based on 75,000 pages of document productions made to the committee, according to the report.
