A 24-year-old man, identified as Blue Stevens, was fatally stabbed in Knightsbridge, prompting detectives to investigate the possibility of a targeted attack. Stevens was discovered with multiple stab wounds on Seville Street on Wednesday evening.
In connection with the murder, three men in their 20s have been arrested. Two of the suspects were apprehended in Hounslow on 12 July; one is suspected of conspiracy to murder, while the other faces murder charges. A third man was arrested on Monday for allegedly assisting an offender.
Tragically, Mr Stevens, who hailed from Yateley in Hampshire, succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Detective Chief Superintendent Christina Jessah stated that the arrests represent a "significant milestone in this complex and unfolding murder investigation."
Jessah noted that investigators are keeping an open mind regarding the motive behind the attack, suggesting it may have been targeted. In response to the incident, police presence has been heightened in the Knightsbridge area.
The stabbing occurred near The Park Tower Knightsbridge hotel, but a spokesperson for Marriott confirmed that the incident did not involve any guests or staff members.
