Harry Potter star, Emma Watson has been banned from driving at a High Wycombe court for speeding.

Ms Watson, 35, admitted speeding on Banbury Road, Oxford after she was caught at 38mph in a 30mph zone.

She had been driving her £30,000 Audi that had previously been towed away by the police at the time.

The Hollywood star was caught by an automatic camera on July 31, last year at 10.44pm in the evening.

The actress did not attend the hearing which took place at the court on Easton Street on Wednesday morning.

She was represented in court by Mark Haslam who said his client 'fully understands her position and will accept her punishment'.

He added that she is a student adding: "I ask you to give her credit for the plea of guilty.

"She is a lady in a position to pay an appropriate fine."
