Members of a Rochdale grooming gang could be deported to Pakistan amid a major new development, an MP has now revealed.

Rochdale MP Paul Waugh previously described his 'utter outrage' that two members of a Rochdale grooming gang, who were jailed 13 years ago for their horrific sex crimes against children, still remained in the UK and have thwarted repeated attempts to deport them back to their native Pakistan.

Adil Khan, 54, and Abdul Rauf, 55, were among nine gang members jailed in 2012 for their part in a gang of Asian men who plied vulnerable white girls with drink and then shared them with other abusers at sex parties across the north.
