A fight among members of Jane’s Addiction that began on a Boston stage last fall — and ultimately broke up the band — is headed to court.

Guitarist Dave Navarro, bassist Eric Avery, and drummer Stephen Perkins are jointly suing Jane’s Addiction singer Perry Farrell for his actions last September when, during the band’s concert at Leader Bank Pavilion, the frontman abruptly attacked Navarro.

In the lawsuit , filed Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court and first reported by TMZ and Rolling Stone , Navarro alleges assault and battery, while he, Avery, and Perkins all claim intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, and breach of contract. The bandmates are seeking $10 million in damages.
