Fundraiser for victims of July 11 home explosion in Manteo

In the wake of the July 11 explosion and fire in Manteo that destroyed the home of Buddy and Kate Creef, the Lost Colony Tavern is holding a fundraiser on July 19 to help them and to raise funds for the medical bills of the individual who was injured and airlifted to Norfolk General Hospital.

The person injured in the explosion is Alan Beacham, and he is reported to be recovering in the ICU Burn unit at the hospital.
