John Wood will take over as the head men's golf coach at Allan Hancock College in Spring 2026, replacing Rob Senior who served at the helm in the interim role last season.

Wood joined the Bulldogs as a volunteer assistant coach under Coach Senior during the 2025 campaign, who will be returning to solely serving as the head women's golf coach this fall.

"I'm excited about the opportunity to continue raising the bar for men's golf here at Allan Hancock. The golf program has continued to raise the bar in recent seasons, and I'm looking forward to building on those new budding traditions," Wood said.
