Police said they have been 'working hard' to tackle criminal activity across Coventry . Arrests have been made across the city for offences such as shoplifting and drug-driving.

Concerns had also been raised about anti-social behaviour in Radford and Holbrooks . Officers have been carrying out targeted patrols in the city and arrested a shoplifter yesterday (July 19).

Officers also helped a young boy who was found seriously injured. Several stop-and-searches have also been conducted, and a quantity of Class B drugs was recovered in Holbrooks .

Traffic enforcement has also been a 'priority' in the past week, with roadside checks carried out on key routes in Coventry . Motorists were fined for a range of offences, including speeding and driving uninsured.
