Air quality continues to be something to monitor as smoke is still residing close to the surface. Conditions have overall improved over the last couple of days, but a handful of systems could move things around through Sunday.

A handful of showers and thundershowers are possible through this evening as our first system moves into the area. Thankfully, the best ingredients for any strong storms will remain well to our south, so aside from a few rumbles of thunder there is not too much to worry about.

Another chance for severe weather is in the forecast again on Sunday. As a front moves through, there may be just enough lift to generate a few storms along a weak line. These storms may be a little more organized due to a slightly more favorable setup, but once again there is not a high leve
