LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Hot desert air caps our moist gulf air. This will act as a lid, preventing rain clouds from forming in the gulf air below. The desert air above will begin to retreat to our south as a wave in the upper level wind flow approaches mid week. Rising motion with the upper level wave brings chances of some showers or thundershowers in our area possibly late Tuesday night with our best chance on Wednesday into Thursday.
