BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) - Peer Leaders from Shady Spring, Woodrow Wilson, Independence, and Liberty High Schools toured the WVU campus to broaden their skill sets. These students got a firsthand look at the college experience. They also built their teamwork skills through collaborative exercises.

"We did team-building activities, and it let us hear everybody out and what they thought was the best idea," said Peer Leader with Raleigh County Schools, Hallie Basham. "We put our ideas together and came to a conclusion. We wrote to our younger selves, and I feel like that was a good thing to reflect on because we are going to be helping the incoming freshmen and the sophomores."
