Beckley Art Center highlights local creators with 'Hills to Holler' exhibit

BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) - A new exhibit is highlighting Appalachian culture and Appalachian creators.

Beckley Art Center presented its Hills to Holler exhibit as part of the Appalachian Festival. Beckley Art Center Executive Director Sandy Shaw said, from nature to lifestyle, the exhibit encompasses all things Appalachia. "We have a little bit of everything," she said. "It's a really beautiful show done by Appalachian artists about Appalachia!" The Hills to Holler exhibit was initially displayed at the Appalachian Arts & Crafts Fair. The work of these local artists will be displayed at the Beckley Art Center's Cynthia Bickey Gallery until September 12.
