BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) -- The Beckley-Raleigh County Health Department is hosting a "Back 2 School" vaccine clinic on July 22, and July 23, 2025.

The organization announced that it will run from 7 a.m. until noon, and then again from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on both days.

Director of Nurses Amber Humphrey said they thought it would be a good idea to offer this chance before school got started.

"We usually try to hold something during the summer, before it gets too close to the deadline [of] school starting," said Humphrey. "That way they'll have time to get those done and maybe start it before they get into school... We had some time available this week that they were able to come in and do that without having to wait to be sitting behind our patients in the clinic."
