Some folks like to get away, take a holiday from the neighborhood.

But these lucky folks didn’t hop a flight to Miami Beach or take a Greyhound on the Hudson River Line, they sat in the back of a Manhattan pedicab that just so happened to be playing the song “New York State of Mind.”

And then Billy Joel pulled up alongside them.

The “Piano Man” posted video of the only-in-New-York encounter on social media Monday.

"We’re in a New York State of Mind…always," he wrote in the caption.
