After-school programs at Rio Rico and Nogales schools will return as normal at the beginning of the school year, after the Trump administration rolled back its pause on a federal grant sponsoring after-school and summer programs across the country.

Nogales schools were allocated $158,000 through the 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) programs, money which will now be released and designated as planned for after-school programs at three schools. In Rio Rico, Santa Cruz Valley schools were allocated $90,000. ×
