AUSTIN (KXAN) — A former Texas Longhorns wide receiver's defamation lawsuit against a woman he said wrongly accused him of sexual assault was dismissed in a Dallas federal court Tuesday.

Isaiah Bond, 20, filed a complaint against the 28-year-old woman shortly after he turned himself in to Frisco, Texas, police on a sexual assault warrant in early April. She is only identified as "Jane Roe" in court documents.

Bond posted a $25,000 bond and was released hours after he turned himself in.

Bond's attorney, Kristen Mohr, said both parties agreed that the suit should be dismissed with prejudice. That means the case cannot be filed again. The original complaint requested a jury trial.
