A senior official from the Department of Justice is scheduled to meet with Ghislaine Maxwell on Thursday in Tallahassee, Florida. Maxwell, a former associate of Jeffrey Epstein, is currently serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking and other charges. The meeting will involve Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, who aims to gather information from Maxwell regarding potential criminal activities involving others.

Earlier this week, the Justice Department announced that the meeting would take place "in the coming days." Blanche stated, "President Trump has told us to release all credible evidence. If Ghislaine Maxwell has information about anyone who has committed crimes against victims, the FBI and the DOJ will hear what she has to say." This statement was shared by Attorney General Pam Bondi on social media.

Maxwell's attorney confirmed that discussions with the government about the meeting were ongoing. The attorney emphasized that "Ghislaine will always testify truthfully."

Maxwell was convicted in December 2021 and has been appealing her conviction since then. She is currently incarcerated at a federal prison in Tallahassee.

In a related development, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer issued a subpoena for Maxwell to provide a deposition at the prison on August 11. Comer noted in his statement, "The facts and circumstances surrounding both your and Mr. Epstein's cases have received immense public interest and scrutiny."

This story is still developing, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
