“The Devil Wears Prada 2 ” officially began filming on July 21, nearly 20 years after the original film took the fashion world by storm.

Expected to be released in May, the movie will see the return of Anne Hathaway as Andi Sachs, Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly, Emily Blunt as Emily Charlton, and Stanley Tucci as Nigel. Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, Pauline Chalamet, Simone Ashley, Helen J. Shen and Conrad Ricamora are also joining the cast. The director of “The Devil Wears Prada 2” is David Frankel, who also directed the first film.
