An investigation is underway following a bank robbery early Thursday morning in Morgan County.
According to the Priceville Police Department, two female bank workers were preparing the ATM at Traditions Bank on Highway 67 for the day when they were aggressively approached by three to four individuals wearing dark clothing, including masks and hoods. Priceville Police Chief Jerry Holmes says the workers fled, leaving the ATM unattended.
“They quickly recognized when they saw the masked individuals what was about to happen, so at that point they were concerned for their safety and they were just wanting to get back inside the bank,” Chief Jerry Holmes said.
Authorities say the suspects took what they could from the unlocked ATM and ran, jumping into a black sedan. Although Chief Holmes co
