A Harrisburg woman was saying hello to friends after enjoying a night out at a city bar when a man suddenly attacked her earlier this month, she said.
Just after midnight on July 3, the 33-year-old said she was standing next to her neighbor outside Mad Moose Tavern on Second Street at Herr Street when a man walked up to them and punched her neighbor in the head.
The woman’s neighbor fell to the ground and was unconscious for minutes, she said. As she kneeled to check on her neighbor, she angrily confronted the stranger for assaulting her neighbor. The attacker then kicked her in the head, she said.
The woman and her neighbor required medical treatment. Her neighbor suffered a concussion from the punch.
