The County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a $156.5 million tentative budget and a plan to decrease the property tax rate by 3 cents in every new budget over the next four fiscal years.

The tentative budget for Fiscal Year 2025-26 already marks the first step towards that goal, potentially bringing the property tax rate from $4 to $3.97 for every $100 of assessed value – the lowest since 2021. ×
