SPOKANE, Wash — House Speaker Mike Johnson is facing backlash over social media after sending lawmakers home early amid Epstein files votes pushes from both sides of the aisle.

This, of course, came after Attorney General Pam Bondi backpeddled earlier this month, saying there was no Epstein client list, despite telling media outlets that it was on her desk waiting to be reviewed.

Just this week, the Wall Street Journal reported that Bondi told the president back in May about his name appearing multiple times in the document, which does not imply the president did anything wrong; however, it does add to the growing demand for more transparency.
