A rising MAGA musician is clapping back.

Sean Feucht, a far-right Christian rocker who has described President Donald Trump’s 2024 election win as ordained by God , has blamed “religious persecution” as the cause for why six of his shows have been canceled at Canadian venues this week.

Feucht, who has promoted Christian nationalism, anti-LGBTQ rhetoric and anti-abortion sentiment, was scheduled to perform on Wednesday at a national historical site in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia. But Parks Canada, the country’s government agency that oversees its national parks, had canceled his permit’s approval the day prior, citing “heightened public safety concerns.” Residents had raised concerns about his performance near the capital city of Halifax.
