CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The Browns’ four-way quarterback competition has been the main highlight of training camp. One quarterback who was off to a strong start will be sidelined for the next few practices.

Kenny Pickett suffered a hamstring injury at the end of Saturday’s practice. The injury will take Pickett out of the mix for the foreseeable future, but the Browns are expected to reevaluate the quarterback later this week, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Pickett and Joe Flacco had been splitting first-team reps through the first week of camp. The injury comes at a tough time, just after quarterbacks coach Bill Musgrave praised Pickett’s performance, not only highlighting the positives but also his ability to learn from mistakes.
