A Dairi-O Restaurant could be in Statesville’s future.

The Statesville City Council voted unanimously to approve rezoning and annexation requests for a proposed location along Turnersburg Highway on July 14.

Dairi-O is a restaurant that offers burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, wraps, soups, salads and ice cream with dine-in or drive-thru options.

The city approved the first readings of an annexation request for the four parcels of property located between Harbor Freight and Fairview Baptist Church. The council delayed the second reading of the rezoning request for the property to October.
