HAMILTON TOWNSHIP — A 17-year-old boy was injured Saturday night after the e-bike he was riding collided with an SUV on Route 40 near Walmart, police said.

Khemchand Seepersad, 55, of Millville, was driving a 2014 Cadillac Escalade east when the vehicle struck the boy, who was also traveling east, at 9:08 p.m., police said Monday in a Facebook post.

The boy, who was not identified, was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment, police said. Seepersad was not injured.
