LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man suffered life-threatening injuries Friday night in a motorcycle crash in southeast Lincoln.
The crash was reported about 6 p.m. on Nebraska Parkway just east of Old Cheney Road.
Investigators say a 47-year-old man was riding a motorcycle when he hit a wooden block in the roadway.
He was knocked off the motorcycle and ended up “a distance away” from the bike, police said.
The man was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A user of the NOW Local News App submitted a video showing a heavily damaged motorcycle lying in the road.
Police said it’s not known how the block got on the road.
Eastbound Nebraska Parkway is closed at Old Cheney.
Lincoln Police remain on scene, and an investigation is ongoing.
