Just a few years ago, Prosper alum Ayden Ames and Plano West alum Blaire Bayless were squaring off on the high school hardwood while trying to help their respective volleyball teams advance in the playoffs.

On Sunday, those two and a couple other Dallas-area standouts celebrated a gold medal victory with the U.S. Women’s U21 National Team after an unbeaten run through the 2025 NORCECA Women’s U21 Pan American Cup, held in San Jose, Costa Rica.
