A former Boston Celtics player is in legal hot water following reports on Sunday that Marcus Morris Sr. was arrested for felony fraud at a Broward County airport in Florida.

According to Broward County booking records , the 13-season NBA forward was held without bond after being accused of writing a bad check with insufficient funds to a Las Vegas casino that flagged him for unpaid gambling debts. Morris was subsequently arrested on a warrant while waiting to board an aircraft in the terminal.

Morris, who last played for the Philadelphia 76ers and Cleveland Cavaliers during the 2023-2024 season, was a member of the Celtics for two seasons between 2017 and 2019. The 35-year-old also spent time playing in four other organizations throughout his 13-year career and made his NBA debut with
