Two people were killed and at least three others wounded in a shooting outside a casino in Reno, Nev., on Monday morning.

A suspect was detained after police shot and wounded him at the scene , ABC News reported. The suspected gunman has been identified only as an adult male.

“The suspect’s condition is unknown at this time,” Reno police said in a statement. “There is no known continuing threat to the public.”

The attacker opened fire in the valet area of the Grand Sierra Resort hotel and casino around 7:30 a.m., authorities said. He had been seen pacing in the parking lot for about 45 minutes before opening fire , sources told CNN.
