YORK, Neb. (KOLN) - A man was arrested after police said he threatened and assaulted a woman, shot her dog and fired a gun outside a York hotel on Tuesday.

According to court documents, law enforcement with the York Police Department and York County Sheriff’s Office responded to a weapons offence that happened near Holen Avenue and East David Drive in York.

Court records state that 32-year-old Jajuan Martez Hudson, of Birmingham, Alabama, had fired a black handgun at a women traveling with him while in a semi-truck at the Hampton Inn.

Police said that prior to the officers arrival, Hudson had taken ecstasy pills and began acting erratic.
