OZARK, Ala. (WDHN) -- One Wiregrass family is looking for closure despite having a peace of mind about the fate of a man who went missing 10 years ago.

The Childree family has spent a decade looking for Charles Childree, who vanished in June of 2015.

"Over the years, we have come to realize he's gone, and we believe that he is in heaven with his brother, sister, mom and dad," said Rhoda Childree Hall, Charles Childree's niece.

His remaining family, which includes his brother and sister, along with nieces, nephews and cousins, hasn't seen or heard from him since June 21, 2015.

"They all have found a way to not let this overtake them, but we all miss Charles and love him a lot," Hall said. "A lot has been done in the last 10 years."
