The defense team for the former Aurora dentist accused of killing his wife of 23 years rested Monday without presenting any case to jurors — no witness testimony.

Prosecutors in the James Craig murder trial rested their case Monday afternoon. Closing arguments are scheduled for Tuesday morning in 18th Judicial District Judge Shay Whitaker’s Arapahoe County courtroom.

Monday was the tenth day of testimony in a trial that was expected to run through this week.

Aurora Police Department Det. Bobbi Jo Olson, the lead detective on the Craig case, was the final witness called to the stand by prosecutors. Olson was examined by prosecutors, and cross-examined by defense attorneys, for almost two full days about the case and her team's investigation.
