On July 13, the EveryLibrary Institute published a report that lays out, in dismayingly straightforward language, that libraries in the United States are now on the front lines of the culture wars being waged by radical right-wing forces sweeping the country.

In its introduction, the report — titled “Codifying Censorship or Reclaiming Rights?
