TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Two parents are accused of leaving their four children, including an infant, in a vehicle during a trip to a Tyler Walmart Monday.

The parents, David Bearden, 28, and Emily Bearden, 27, both of Arp, were arrested and now face charges of endangering a child.

The Tyler Patrolman’s Association said the youngest child was only five weeks old, and was left along with a two, five, and 10-year-old.

Tyler Police Department spokesperson Andy Erbaugh said one of the children called from the car around 5 p.m. asking for help.

The association said the 10-year-old sought the help after the 5-year-old accidently turned off the car.

Erbaugh said officers arrived quickly to the Walmart Supercenter on the 6800 of South Broadway Avenue to find the parents were leaving the parking
