Brabus Revises Everything To Create A Monster

The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance is hardly underpowered. With 805 horsepower and 1,047 lb-ft of torque from its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 hybrid powertrain, it's a sports car that provides more than enough for most, but not the people at Brabus. The tuner has always been renowned for overpowered AMGs, and the new Brabus 1000 lives up to the brand's heritage with 1,000 metric horsepower (986 bhp) and 1,342 lb-ft of torque, though the latter is limited to 1,195 lb-ft to protect the transmission. Remarkably, the engine still meets Euro emissions regulations.
