Remembering Ryno- a look back at Ryne Sandberg’s baseball career and his two years as Peoria Chiefs manager

PEORIA ( 25News Now ) -In 2007, Ryne Sandberg had already achieved the ultimate baseball dream- an MVP title, the highest paid player in baseball, and induction into the Hall of Fame. Still, he wanted to be a big-league manager and to pursue that dream he became a Class A minor league manager with the Peoria Chiefs. Ryno spent two years with the Chiefs and left memories forever in Peoria and Chicago.
