Prosecutors in Contra Costa County have charged a Delta Air Lines co-pilot arrested last weekend with 24 felonies associated to the alleged sex abuse of a minor, the district attorney’s office said Tuesday.

Rustom Bhagwagar, 34, was arrested Saturday after his plane landed at San Francisco International Airport, authorities said Monday. He is currently being held in jail in Martinez on a $15 million bond, prosecutors said.

The D.A. is charging him for allegedly engaging in a sex act with a child under ten, oral copulation with a child, forcible lewd acts upon a child and the aggravated sexual assault of a child.

The district attorney’s office has also charged a 45-year-old woman on what prosecutors are describing as a “related felony.”
