A grief-stricken Sharon Osbourne was 'carried by her children' as she viewed the Ozzy memorial in Birmingham today.

The funeral procession for the Prince of Darkness took place at 1pm today as thousands of fans lined Broad Street to pay their respects.

Our reporter Kirsty Bosley was reporting live and she said: "Heartbreaking scenes here as Sharon visits the memorial, she was clearly broken down by grief, carried by her children.

"Her and Ozzy's grandchildren showed such strength as they laid down flowers for their papa, I can't imagine how they're feeling.

"It's still so raw and so new. Journalists here in the press area were choked up, it's hard not to feel their pain."

Sharon looked heartbroken as she hugged her family and viewed the memorial on Black Sabbath bridge.
