CADDO PARISH, La. (KSLA) - A man was fatally struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run near Love’s Truck Stop.

On July 29, at 10:20 p.m., the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office (CPSO) responded to a fatal hit-and-run incident reported on the 5500 block of North Market.

An investigation indicates that a man was walking along the side of the roadway near North Market Street, near the Love’s Truck Stop, when he was struck by a vehicle.

The vehicle fled the scene.

Caddo Fire District 1 responded to the incident and pronounced the man dead.
