NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A U.S. Navy Petty Officer Second Class was sentenced to six years in prison Tuesday after the Norfolk Police Department received reports the officer was in possession of child sexual abuse material, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

On Nov. 13, 2024, the NPD received the complaint that Robert Henry, 43, possessed CSAM and police found 176 CSAM videos and 119 CSAM images depicting at least 27 minor victims on Henry’s laptop and two hard drives.

Henry searched online for groups on messaging apps, using keyword searches of “Teens and Schoolgirls” and “Teen XXX Groups," according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says at one point, Henry deleted one of the messaging apps he used because “there are people looking for predators.”
