WAVERLY, Ky. (WFIE) - A Union County man’s lunch break turned exciting when he found out he won the lottery.
Kentucky Lottery officials say Cameron Greenwell, of Waverly, was sitting in his car when he began scratching his Millionaire Club scratch-off ticket.
“I scratch the top part of the ticket for matching numbers, and the first one was the win of $10,000 so I figured that was it,” he said.
Believing he’d already found the big win, he folded the half-scratched ticket and tucked it into his pocket before climbing into his work tractor.
Greenwell works alongside his dad, spraying agriculture crops.
Once he made it home from work, Greenwell went to the Kentucky Lottery website to print out a claim form to have what he thought was his $10,000 winnings mailed to him.
