SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The Shreveport Police Department has made an arrest in a homicide case from 2024.

On July 30, SPD announced the arrest of Shontravious Rogers, 35, in connection with the 2024 shooting death of Trevion Marshall, 24. The shooting happened June 5, 2024 just before 6 p.m. in the 3500 block of Milam Street, police say.

When officers responded, they found that Marshall had been shot. A friend tried to drive him to the hospital, but was intercepted by Shreveport Fire crews who were already headed to the scene to help. Marshall was then taken to the hospital by SFD, where he later died.

After an in-depth investigation, Rogers was identified as the alleged shooter.

Rogers was found in Fort Worth, Texas on July 17. He was extradited back to Shreveport
